Cost estimator
A starting range for your renovation budget
A planning tool, not a quote. It is built around two things that move a renovation budget more than anything else — the type of project and the level of finish — so you have a range worth planning against before you request contractor pricing.
The estimator is being built. Until it is available, a short consultation will give you a more specific planning range — one that accounts for your scope, your property and the current market.
Levels of finish
Finish level is usually the single largest controllable factor in a renovation budget. The same room, built to the same standard, can differ substantially depending on what goes into it.
01
Basic
Standard stock materials, simple layouts, minimal customization. The work is done properly; the specification stays economical.
02
Standard
Mid-range materials and fixtures, some custom elements, the finish level found in most well-executed residential renovations.
03
Premium
Higher-grade materials, custom millwork, better fixtures, and detailing that takes more time on site.
04
Luxury
Bespoke design, specified materials, complex detailing and specialized trades throughout.
